A 54 kW solar array designed and installed by Ideal Energy is scheduled to come online next week at The Sky Factory, a fine art and technology company in Fairfield, Iowa. The companies say this is the largest private installation in the state, and it will generate 104% of Sky Factory's power needs.
The system's estimated annual production is 79,062 kWh, according to Ideal Energy. The array comprises 230 Canadian Solar CS6P-235PX panels and Enphase Energy microinverters on each module.
The ribbon-cutting is scheduled for Thurs., June 7 at 11:00 a.m., beginning with tours of the factory and the solar array, as well as presentations and the ceremonial flipping of the switch.
