5.75 MW Solar Installation Slated For Sugar Factory In India

India-based PV module manufacturer WAAREE Energies Pvt. Ltd. says it will supply 5.75 MW of its solar panels to a thin-film PV power plant at the Shree Saibaba sugar factory, located in Latur, Maharashtra, India.

‘This power plant will be one of its kind in Maharashtra and will provide the much-needed momentum for grid-based solar power in Maharashtra,’ notes Adinath Sangwe, technical director of the sugar factory.
