Several company executives have joined the Advanced Energy Economy's (AEE) board of directors to support the business group's efforts to spur the growth of clean energy in the U.S.
The new directors are Dan'l Lewin, corporate vice president of Microsoft; Chris Brown, president of Vestas Americas; Mary Rhinehart, chair and president of Johns Manville; Terrill Laughton, vice president and general manager of integrated demand resources at Johnson Controls; Andre DeVilbiss, senior vice president of strategic development at Recurrent Energy; and Bill DiCroce, president and chief operating officer of Veolia North America's municipal and commercial business. Remaining on the board, now in his new role at Schneider Electric, is Kevin Self, senior vice president of strategy, business development and government relations.

Furthermore, the affiliated Advanced Energy Economy Institute has also added new board members: Greg Ballard, former mayor of Indianapolis, Ind.; Arno Harris, founder and former CEO of Recurrent Energy and past board chair of the Solar Energy Industries Association; and Kim Jordan, co-founder and executive chair of New Belgium Brewing.
