BlueChip Energy (BCE), a solar equipment manufacturer, systems integrator and independent power producer, has hired Steve Daniel as vice president of sales and marketing.
In this role, he is responsible for the regional growth strategy for the company's commercial project development, PV equipment manufacturing and solar power plants. Daniel will be based in the BCE office located in Northern California.
Daniel has over 25 years of leadership experience in sales and marketing. He began his career in the high-tech industry, leading teams at DEC, Sun Microsystems, Silicon Graphics, Exodus Communications and BEA prior to moving into the solar sector. He most recently was chief sales officer at Centrosolar America.
