C-TEC Solar, based in Simsbury, Conn., has inaugurated a 60-collector commercial solar thermal system at Laurel Place Apartments in Hartford, Conn. C-TEC Solar designed, installed and monitors the system.
According to Mickey Toro, owner of C-TEC, the system produced 1.4 million Btus in one day during its early operational period. The client has been provided with online tools to monitor the installation's productivity.
