Canadian Solar Solutions Inc. has signed a 10 MW module supply agreement with Silvercreek Solar Park Inc. for a ground-mounted utility-scale solar power plant in Ontario.
Located in Elgin County, the Silvercreek solar power plant will incorporate 48,384 Canadian Solar CS6X modules. The facility is scheduled to be completed and connected to the grid in July. It is expected to generate over 17.5 GWh of electricity per year over its 20-year operational life.Â
This project is being developed as part of the Ontario Power Authority feed-in tariff contract.
