Canadian Solar Inc. has signed a sales contract to supply 12.6 MW of photovoltaic modules for a solar project in Kayseri, Turkey.

The company entered the deal with the Kayseri Organized Industry Zone (KOIZ), an industrial zone in Turkey, and a consortium of companies in KOIZ: Hascelik Group, a steel and aluminum manufacturer, and BESLER Tekstil San.ve Tic. A.S., a producer of yarn.

‘We are very proud to announce this 12.6 MW module supply agreement, which is our largest deal ever in Turkey – making it a new milestone in this important, emerging market," comments Shawn Qu, chairman and CEO of Canadian Solar."
