Catholic University, Standard Solar Dedicate PV Array

The Catholic University of America (CUA) has installed what the university says is the largest PV array in Washington, D.C.

The project features more than 2,600 modules and its expected to generate more than 830,000 kWh of electricity annually. Standard Solar, based in Rockville, Md., performed the installation. The system is owned and operated by McLean, Va.-based Washington Gas Energy Systems as part of a 20-year power purchasing agreement with CUA.
