Former President Bill Clinton will be the keynote speaker at Solar Power International (SPI) 2012, which will be held Sept. 11-13 in Orlando, Fla.

‘President Clinton's global perspective and stature are sure to motivate and inspire our exhibitors and attendees,’ says Julia Hamm, president and CEO of the Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA). SEPA and the Solar Energy Industries Association will jointly host SPI.

‘We are honored to present the former president as our keynote speaker and believe that his understanding of the need to explore alternative energy will be a message that resonates with all,’ Hamm adds.

SPI will feature more than 1,200 exhibitors and more than 24,000 attendees from 128 countries, according to conference organizers.
