Solar cell and module manufacturer China Sunergy Co. Ltd. says it has formed an agreement with DuPont China Holdings and China Electric Equipment Group to pursue advancements in photovoltaic technologies and materials.
As a part of the collaboration, China Sunergy has agreed to increase its purchase of photovoltaic materials from DuPont, including Solamet metallization material and Tedlar polyvinyl fluoride film-based backsheet. The companies says they will investigate product-quality improvements aimed at increasing solar module efficiencies and reducing overall system costs.
