DuPont Microcircuit Materials, part of DuPont Electronic Technologies, recently opened a new technical center at its Taoyuan, Taiwan, facility that provides research, development and technical support for its Solamet customers in the photovoltaic solar energy industry.
‘This new technical center allows us to be closer to our customers in the region and will help accelerate our ability to meet their needs for materials that make PV cells and modules more efficient and less costly,’ says Walt Cheng, global business director of DuPont Microcircuit Materials.
‘With evaluation facilities resembling our customers' production lines, we can conduct more systematic product evaluations, troubleshoot issues more quickly and modify paste properties for maximum performance,’ he adds.
