Sullivan Notes Year-End Close Of Solar Rebate Program

San Diego-based solar integrator Sullivan Solar Power has announced that its San Diego Solar Program will close on Dec. 31. The company launched the solar rebate program in April, and Sullivan says the initiative allows San Diego County residents the opportunity to receive incentives that double the current California Solar Initiative state rebate amount.

The company is in its final phase of funding, at $0.20/W, and the average homeowner who signs up before the Dec. 31 program sunset will receive $1,000 cash-back, according to Sullivan. The initiative is limited to 500 San Diego County residents, and the company estimates to pay San Diego residents up to $800,000 collectively in cash-back incentives if the program is fully subscribed.

"The San Diego Solar Program is a game changer for those residents who have wanted to go solar but thought it was too expensive," says Daniel Sullivan, founder and president of Sullivan Solar Power." We developed this program to allow homeowners to go solar and get paid to do so without the need for home equity or spending a dime out of pocket."
