Apollo Solar, a designer and manufacturer of power conditioning and control electronics for solar energy systems, has made available its TSW2212, TSW3224 and TSW3648 TrueSineWave inverter/chargers.
Each inverter/charger includes a DC-to-AC pure sine wave inverter, battery charger and AC transfer switch in a compact modular housing, which the company says is ideal for off-grid residential and commercial battery-based installations in the 2 kW-12 kW range.
Available in 12-, 24-, and 48-volt versions, the products meet the requested specifications from distributors, dealers, installers and end-users of battery-based power systems, Apollo Solar says. The unit provides both 120-volt and 240-volt AC power for the U.S. and Canadian markets and can be installed into tight spaces. No external transformers are required for step up, step down or balancing, thus saving added costs, installation time, and several percentage points of efficiency, according to the company.
