Green Mountain, a retail provider of cleaner energy and carbon offset solutions, has launched a new chapter of the Sun Club in the New York City and Westchester County areas of New York.
Under the program, for $5 a month, Green Mountain's New York customers can help donate solar energy technology to local nonprofits. The program is available to residential electricity customers in the Con Edison service territory throughout New York City and Westchester County.
Each solar donation will also include an educational component to help New Yorkers learn more about the importance of solar energy.
