Trina Solar Ltd. says that two of its PV power plants with a total capacity of 23.77 MW are now connected to the grid in the U.K.

The company says it is an investor in and the sole project developer for these projects, which are located in Cornwall and Dorset.

The PV projects commenced construction in December 2013 and were completed on schedule in March of this year. They were developed using Trina PC05A 255Wp modules and are expected to generate 24,673 MWh of electricity annually.

Jifan Gao, chairman and CEO of Trina Solar, says," Along with the growth potential in the U.K. market, Europe remains a major market for Trina Solar, both in terms of modules and downstream projects. We will continue to build our project pipeline in the U.K. in the quarters ahead as we execute our global downstream strategy.’
