Blue Oak Energy Installs 900 kW Solar Project On Fortinet’s Corporate Campus

California-based network security firm Fortinet has inaugurated its 900 kW solar electric system, which covers two rooftops and three parking lots on its Santa Clara corporate campus.

Fortinet contracted with Blue Oak Energy to design and install the campus-wide solar project. The installation includes 3,148 Canadian Solar modules. The Fortinet campus improvements and solar projects were managed by FaciliCorp, a San Jose-based engineering firm.

‘This commercial solar energy carport and commercial solar rooftop project will generate power economically for Fortinet's campus over the next 30 years,’ says Tobin Booth, CEO of Blue Oak Energy.
