NREL Looking For Installers To Participate In Solar Customer Attitudes Study

0

The U.S. Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) is looking for photovoltaic solar installers to participate in its Solar Energy Evolution and Diffusion Studies (SEEDS) program.

Through this program, NREL is conducting an extensive consumer survey aimed at identifying why customers adopted solar power and why prospects who have considered solar power failed to commit. The story also aims to determine how to identify lost leads who would reconsider going solar and past customers who would be most likely to refer installers to others.

NREL will provide installers that participate in the SEEDS program with a free customized report detailing the attitudes of lost leads and past customers. The report will also compare responses to those of the broader industry.

NREL is launching the survey in early 2015. Currently, the study is only accepting participants who operate in one or more of the following U.S. states: Arizona, California, New Jersey and New York.
