Annapolis Seeks Proposals For Renewable Energy Park On Landfill

The City of Annapolis, Md., is accepting sealed proposals from prospective developers or development teams for the development and operation of a renewable energy park.

The competitive proposals shall be for a public-private partnership with a proposed developer or development team for a land-lease of the property containing the closed city landfill. To be considered, the proposals must be for privately financed project development and operation of the facility.

Proposals must be submitted to the Central Purchasing Office, 161 Duke of Gloucester St., 1st Floor, Annapolis, Maryland 21401. Proposals will be accepted until Feb. 12, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. local time. Late proposals will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Interested parties are invited to attend a pre-proposal conference at 10:00 a.m. on Dec. 17 in the City Council Chamber, City Hall, 160 Duke of Gloucester St., in downtown Annapolis. A site visit will immediately follow the meeting.
