Santa Monica, Calif.-based Energy Power Partners (EPP), a private equity and infrastructure firm that focuses on clean energy projects, has completed its acquisition of Talen Renewable Energy LLC from Talen Energy.
Talen Renewable Energy consists of a portfolio of 25 utility-grade clean power projects in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Vermont and New Hampshire with a total of 65 MW of nameplate generating capacity. The portfolio includes landfill gas-to-energy, solar, wind and cogeneration projects.
Talen Renewable Energy's full staff has joined EPP as part of the transaction.
