GEDA Introduces SolarLift Vertical Transportation Device

GEDA, a manufacturer of rack-and-pinion lifting hoist and elevator products, has debuted SolarLift, a lifting device designed exclusively to lift PV modules onto rooftops for installation and maintenance.

According to the company, SolarLift's design and construction make the product ideal for residential, commercial and industrial solar professionals. It utilizes a custom carrier that protects sensitive photovoltaic panels during lifting and allows for horizontal movement on the rooftop to provide installers easy access to the panel in their work area.

SolarLift's combines GEDA's ladder lift technology with flexible ladder pitch, allowing for secure positioning of the lift, the company adds. It features a total capacity of 550 lbs. and maximum lifting height of 103 ft.
