Georgia Power has debuted a new solar energy education initiative and website that is designed to provide comprehensive information and personalized assistance for customers interested in learning more about solar energy.
The online tool features a calculator to help customers determine the costs and savings associated with solar energy, links to solar installers, information about Georgia Power's solar buyback and Green Energy programs, and available customer incentives.  Â
As part of the company's initiative to enhance its solar presence, Georgia Power has also trained employees throughout the state to serve as solar energy consultants. These individuals will help customers understand the fundamentals of solar technology and provide support and advice to residential and small-business customers interested in solar.
