HatiCon Solar says it has signed a deal for Wesco to distribute HatiCon Solar PV mounting systems at four locations on three Hawaiian islands.

HatiCon Solar's mounting systems are made of light, non-corrosive and fully recyclable aluminum, and are designed for pitched and low-sloped roofs, where additional weight can necessitate roof reinforcements, the company explains.

The mounting systems' shallow embedment ground-mount system makes use of aluminum's non-corrosive qualities, which is important in geographies with high humidity and salt content in the atmosphere, like Hawaii, HatiCon adds.
