Hertz Planning Solar Installations At New York City Airports

Hertz Corp. says it has launched the second phase of its solar energy program by announcing plans for solar installations at John F. Kennedy International Airport and Newark International Airport.

Combined, the new installations will generate more than 800 MWh of renewable energy, according to the company.

This year, Hertz will also complete the installation of eight additional solar systems at locations in Augusta, Ga; Denver; Los Angeles; Macon, Ga; and Boston.
