ICP Solar Technologies, a Montreal-based manufacturer of solar cells and products, have formed a partnership with the Captain Planet Foundation, an organization developed by Ted Turner to education children on the benefits of clean energy.

For every purchase that is made on ICP's Web site for the company's Sunsei line of products, ICP will make a contribution to the Captain Planet Foundation to support hands-on environmental projects for youth. The Sunsei line includes solar panels and portable solar chargers.

‘The Captain Planet Foundation, driven by the eco-living expert Laura Turner Seydel, has done a wonderful job reaching out to children and adults alike to raise awareness about environmental issues affecting our planet, and we are excited about partnering to educate the next generation about solar technology,’ comments Sass Peress, ICP's chair and chief executive officer.
