Sunnyvale, Calif.-based Solar Semiconductor has introduced its line of ISO 9001-certified photovoltaic (PV) modules, which are produced at the company's manufacturing facility Hyderabad, India.

The PV modules include the SSI-S6 series (high-watt density modules using high-efficiency 156 mm monocrystalline cells); the SSI-S5 series (which uses 125 mm monocrystalline cells to produce modules that are lighter and more compact); the SSI-M6 series (which are assembled with high-efficiency 156 mm multicrystalline cells); and the SSI-SC series (consisting of modules with less than 100 W that are primarily for off-grid applications).
