JinkoSolar Holding Co. Ltd. has supplied nearly 115,000 of its 305 W solar modules to
Sustainable Power Group (sPower) for a 34 MW solar project comprising four sites in Lancaster and Victorville, Calif.
sPower says construction is complete on the project, with Swinerton Builders serving as the primary engineering, procurement and construction provider. sPower has a 20-year power purchase agreement in place with Southern California Edison for the output from the facilities, which are expected to commence operations at the end of November.
"This is a significant milestone for sPower – bringing online the first major group of projects after our merger with Fir Tree-backed developer Silverado Power earlier this year,’ says sPower CEO Ryan Creamer. He later adds," We look forward to teaming with JinkoSolar on many more projects."
