OutBack Power Technologies Inc. has announced the OutBack Power Certificate Training Program, a three-day class through which solar installers will earn continuing-education credits from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) toward the PV Installer Certification or Solar PV Recertification.
‘This training program – approved by the most prominent professional certification group in the industry – gives installers and contractors the know-how to meet customer economic and security needs by designing new systems and upgrading existing ones with flexible battery backup capability and smarter system technology, to position them for a smart-grid future," says Mark Cerasuolo, senior marketing manager of OutBack Power.
The company is now accepting registration for the next class, which will be held in Arlington, Wash., from May 20 to May 23. The following session at the Arlington facility is June 18-20, and sessions are planned in Phoenix starting in July.
