Photovoltech Inaugurates New Production Line

Photovoltech, a photovoltaic cell company owned by Total, SUEZ and Imec, has inaugurated a new production line in Belgium. Built at a cost of 30 million euros, the new line raises Photovoltech's total production capacity to 80 MW per year.

Taking advantage of the opportunity provided by the inauguration, Photovoltech also announced a further investment of 45 million euros to increase total production capacity to 140 MW per year by 2009.
