SunEdison Makes 660 MW Solar Cell Supply Deal With Shinsung

SunEdison has signed an agreement with Korea-based Shinsung Solar Energy to purchase 660 MW of solar cells over a three-year period. Shinsung will manufacture the cells using SunEdison solar wafers.

‘As our global business grows, we are pleased to begin a relationship with Shinsung to help meet our demand,’ says David Ranhoff, president of solar materials at SunEdison. ‘This agreement with Shinsung is another step forward in our ongoing efforts to strengthen our asset-light supply chain while delivering maximum performance and value to our customers.’
