Bend, Ore.-based PV Powered, a designer and manufacturer of solar inverters, has appointed Gregg Patterson chief executive officer and chairman of the company's board of directors, and Erick Petersen vice president of marketing and business development.
Before joining PV Powered, Patterson was a vice president and general manager at Hewlett-Packard Corp. (HP). During his 22-year career at HP, he has held numerous executive positions, including worldwide manufacturing, research and development, and general management.
Petersen recently held the title of vice president and general manager for Planar Systems' commercial business unit in Beaverton, Ore. He created the business strategy and assembled the team that grew the company to $100 million in three years.
