ReneSola Ltd., a China-based provider of energy-efficient products and project developer, has unveiled plans to construct 107 MW of solar projects across four U.S. states: California, Massachusetts, Minnesota and North Carolina.
According to the company, construction of projects totaling 37 MW in North Carolina and Massachusetts is expected to commence in the second half of this year. Construction of the remaining 70 MW of solar projects, located in Minnesota and California, is planned for 2017.
“North America remains a large and robust market and the most attractive to us for downstream activity,” says Xianshou Li, ReneSola’s CEO. “We look forward to driving further project development in the U.S. and expect to start construction of a good portion of our project pipeline in the second half of 2016.”
