The Sacramento International Jet Center, located at the Sacramento International Airport in California, has installed a 130 kW PV system at its hangar and office facilities.

The system was installed by CitiGreen Inc. and Foothill Electric, turnkey solar contractors for commercial customers. It features 562 Conergy PM 235 W solar modules affixed to the Jet Center rooftop using more than 5,600 feet of Conergy SunTop mounting systems. The entire system is connected to the grid using two Solectria 60 kW inverters.

The Jet Center benefited from federal tax incentives that allow it to write off 70% of their system installation costs and will receive a rebate from the Sacramento Municipal Utility District for 20% additional cost reduction, according to Conergy.
