Germany-based mounting systems manufacturer K2 Systems has opened a U.S. division, called Everest Solar Systems, in Oceanside, Calif. The company is occupying a 24,000 square-foot facility in the Ocean Ranch business park and will start shipping from the new facility this month.
K2 Systems is active in all major market segments – residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar – with a track record of more than 2.5 GW of installations in all major European markets.
Everest Solar Systems plans to offer four new products for the residential and commercial markets at the upcoming Solar Power International 2012 conference this month.
