SolarEdge Branches Out In European And Japanese Markets

SolarEdge Technologies Inc., a global provider of PV inverters, power optimizers and module-level monitoring services, has announced new company developments in the European and Japanese solar markets.

Specifically, SolarEdge is rolling out its new complete residential solution throughout Europe. Combining PV inverter, storage and home automation technology, the complete residential solution manages and monitors solar energy generation, electricity consumption, energy storage, and device control that enables homeowners to increase self-consumption and energy independence, according to the company.

“SolarEdge is committed to making PV more accessible throughout Europe by providing innovative products that offer greater value. Homeowners that use solar energy can lower household expenses by reducing their electricity bills,” says Alfred Karlstetter, general manager of SolarEdge Europe. “Our new residential offering covers a wide variety of homeowner needs that range from increased production and maximizing self-consumption to home automation.”

Elsewhere in the world, SolarEdge is expanding its business in the Japanese PV market with a growing staff; new office, training and logistics center; an expanded PV portfolio; and new distributors. The company says it has been active in the Japanese PV market for a number of years and is focused on expanding its footprint.
