Solis Partners, a provider of commercial solar power systems, has completed two solar power systems in the Catholic Diocese of Trenton, which spans Burlington, Mercer, Monmouth and Ocean counties in New Jersey.
The company installed a 78.75 kW ground-mounted system for Church of the Assumption in North Hanover Township, N.J., and a 155 kW ground-mounted system at Saint Mary's Church in Colts Neck, N.J.
Construction for both projects began in fall 2011. Solis Partners installed the systems under a third-party power purchase agreement financing structure. Collectively, the systems will offset approximately 85% of the parishes' annual electric usage, Solis Partners says. The PPA includes financing, design, installation, monitoring and maintenance.
The PV panels and inverters were supplied by the solar division of Allied Building Products Corp.
