SVTC Technologies has hired Kurt Laetz as managing director, strategic marketing, to head up its new SVTC Solar unit, which will focus on PV development services from new headquarters in San Jose, Calif.
Laetz, most recently vice president of global sales and marketing at XsunX, will develop services and capabilities specifically oriented toward companies in the solar industry. Prior to XsunX, Laetz was a board member and chief operating and financial officer of Symetrix, an intellectual-property licensing company in Colorado.
