China-based solar panel manufacturer Trina Solar has announced a marketing and brand partnership with Cirque du Soleil. Trina Solar says it will become the entertainment provider’s first-ever official solar partner in the U.S.
“This partnership is a natural fit for Trina Solar,” comments Jing Tian, Trina Solar’s head of global marketing. “We are striving to promote our commitment to tapping into human imagination and inspiring people around the world, and we hope our partnership with Cirque du Soleil will help us achieve this goal.”
The new partnership will focus on co-promotional campaigns, Cirque du Soleil experiences for Trina Solar’s customers and employees, and more. Trina Solar will be launching the partnership with participation of Cirque du Soleil artists at a special performance at the solar company’s booth at Solar Power International in Las Vegas this September.
