Two Solar Projects Totaling 14 MW Go Online In Indiana

Solar Frontier Americas, the U.S. subsidiary of Japan-based panel manufacturer Solar Frontier, has announced the completion of two utility-scale solar projects featuring its copper, indium and selenium (CIS) solar modules.

Located in Terra Haute and Brazil, Ind., the projects were developed and are owned and operated by Cypress Creek Renewables. Each installation is 7 MW in size, and the projects are delivering power to Duke Energy under a 20-year power purchase agreement.

Charles Pimentel, chief operating officer of Solar Frontier Americas, comments, “Cypress Creek Renewables is committed to the local communities they build in, and they deliver high-quality, well-kept solar power generation plants.”
