Academy Solar LLC, a Chapel Hill, N.C.-based residential and commercial solar energy design and installation company, says it has launched a free online calculator to estimate a firm, final price for solar energy installations with complete cashflows, payback, expected real energy production and anticipated environmental benefits that their system will produce.
By entering monthly electric costs and choosing the size of a solar energy system, a customer can automatically receive a quote via e-mail for installing a system on the roof of a home or business office with the maximum federal and North Carolina state tax incentives included in the estimate.
