Aide Solar, a large-scale producer of photovoltaic modules and a subsidiary of the Panjit Group, has entered into an agreement to work with independent power producer Folium Energy as the solar module supplier projects in California.
The distributed-generation guidelines for the state's feed-in tariff program stipulate that each site generate a minimum of 100 kW – but not more than 1.5 MW – of solar power. Folium's plans involve a portfolio of ground mount installations at 710 different solar distributed-generation sites located in 35 different counties throughout California. Installations will begin in the fourth quarter of this year and are projected to be completed in one year.
