AlsoEnergy, a Boulder, Colo.-based provider of renewable energy software solutions, has announced a merger with skytron energy, a solar software and hardware company in Europe, as well as the acquisition of Draker Corp., a global solar solutions company based out of Burlington, Vt.
The companies will combine their global business operations to offer software, hardware and control solutions for solar, wind and storage assets.

Francisco Baraona, managing director of skytron energy, adds, “Our combined solutions create a global software platform across all asset classes that is supported by proven hardware and control technologies and delivered with consistent sales, support and service across all geographies.”
Speaking on the strategic investment in Draker, Schaefer says the deal boosts its own portfolio of “PV and storage performance management services for the C&I and utility-scale segments.”
