Astronergy (Chint Solar) has hired Thomas Heinl as general manager of Astronergy Solar Deutschland GmbH. In this role, he will be responsible for all related business activities including sales, marketing and market strategy in west, north, east and central Europe.
Heinl has 18 years of experience with Infineon Technologies AG (formerly Siemens AG) and Qimonda AG, where he held several positions, including vice president of sales and marketing, vice president of global sales operations and senior director of corporate purchasing. Immediately prior to joining Astronergy, he was the director of strategic procurement for Conergy AG.
