Canadian Solar and Blue-Tech SRL say they have completed four new solar projects in northern Italy: two residential rooftop installations, located in Sirmione and Cremona; and two industrial plants, both located in the municipality of Siziano.
Canadian Solar's 230 W CS6P modules were used at the Sirmione and Cremona installations, which have outputs of 99 kW and 5.52 kW, respectively. The modules are directly connected to the grid and meet the full energy requirements of the buildings, the companies note.
The new industrial plants in Siziano, which were installed by Sea Energy SRL, have capacities of 670 kW and 811 kW, and utilize approximately 2,910 and 3,530 modules, respectively.
