Canadian Solar Inc., a vertically integrated provider of ingots, wafers, cells, solar modules and solar power systems, has announced that the company has supplied solar modules to EOSOL Energies Nouvelles' (EOSOL EN) new 5.1 MW, ground-mounted solar plant in France.
The Le Petit Chataignier solar plant, for which Canadian Solar provided a total of 21,560 modules, has been built in La Genetouze and was inaugurated on Thursday. EOSOL EN previously selected Canadian Solar's modules for three other installations in France with an overall installed capacity of more than 16 MW.
Other partners in the Le Petit Chataignier project included 3E as technical construction auditor, BIOTOPE as ecological engineering and biodiversity manager and ERDF as electric line constructor.
