Cenergy Power says it has completed a 354 kW rooftop PV system at Del Mar Farms, a food grower, packer and shipper. Cenergy designed, engineered and installed the system, which is expected to produce over 660,000 kWh annually.
‘We pursue sustainable agricultural practices as much as possible, and we have looked into solar for years,’ says Jon Maring, a principal at Del Mar Farms. ‘With the recent expansion of our cooling capacity and the attractive solar economics offered by Cenergy Power, we knew this was the right time to go solar.’
The system is expected to offset its cost in approximately four years.
