Centrosolar says it has established an international subsidiary in the U.K. to respond to increased demand for photovoltaic systems in the region, particularly in England. The U.K. branch, which will be located in London, represents the company's ninth branch outside Germany. The new branch will be run by Simon Gerrard, who most recently served as head of domestic sales for a British solar company.
Centrosolar says it expects increased demand for PV systems in the U.K. due to its new feed-in-tariff programs. The company supplies integrated packages comprising crystalline modules and all the components that are needed to operate a system, as well as thin-film systems.
