China's Ministry of Commerce may pursue an investigation into alleged dumping of solar polysilicon by Europe-based producers, Bloomberg reports.
Citing China's Xinhua News Agency, Bloomberg says LDK Solar is among the four Chinese companies that filed a request for the Chinese government to look into the potential dumping. Most of the polysilicon in question came from Germany and Italy. Wacker Chemie AG provided the largest share.
Last month, China's government launched a similar investigation into whether exporters from the U.S. and South Korea illegally dumped solar-grade polysilicon in China.
