Germany-based Conergy has won an order in Spain for two rooftop installations with a total capacity of 3.3 MW. The customer is Conergy's long-standing partner Prosolia, which will serve as the general contractor for both projects.

The larger of the two installations has a total capacity of 1.8 MW spread over a surface area of around 12,000 square meters and was built on the roof of a warehouse belonging to German logistics company Sesena in the province of Toledo, Castilla-La Mancha.

The second installation is a 1.5 MW power plant built on a 10,000 square-meter roof belonging to the food wholesaler Mercatenerife in Tenerife's capital Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Both systems are expected to be connected to the grid by the end of the month. Combined, they feature approximately 13,600 Conergy P Series solar modules.
