DTE Energy, a Michigan-based utility, has issued a request for proposals (RFP) to identify qualified companies to work with DTE Energy on large-scale solar energy installations.
DTE Energy plans to install several photovoltaic solar systems totaling up to 12 MW over the next four years at locations throughout the company's southeast Michigan service area. Detroit Edison will own and operate the solar energy systems, which will be ground-mounted or on rooftops of commercial, industrial or DTE Energy buildings.
The company is seeking respondents that have significant experience in the engineering, development and installation of solar energy systems 150 kW and larger. Respondents must register on the PowerAdvocate website, poweradvocate.com, to submit a bid. Any questions about this RFP should be submitted to renewsuppliers@dteenergy.com.
Responses are due by noon on April 1.
