enXco, an EDF Energies Nouvelles company, says it has promoted Mark Tholke to vice president of origination for the Southwest region. He will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, structuring and developing renewable energy projects throughout the Southwest, including California, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada and Hawaii.
Tholke will direct site assessment, land acquisition, interconnection strategy, permitting, public outreach, customer relationships, regional policy analysis, initial financial feasibility analyses, and engineering/design and project legal review. He also has oversight over the origination of multiple projects either through internal origination or acquisition.
He joined enXco in November 2006, as the regional project development manager and was promoted to director of the Southwest region in August 2008.
